Privacy Notice

This notice covers the Backstage Live public website and its early-interest form. It does not replace the separate privacy notice for the Backstage Live TestFlight beta.

Who is responsible

Main Character LLP operates Backstage Live. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@maincharacter.one.

Information we collect

When you share early interest, we store:

• your email address;
• your optional role selection;
• your optional product note;
• the submission time and version of this notice.

We do not store the form’s spam-check fields. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the optional note.

Why we use it

We use this information to maintain the early-interest list, understand product needs, prevent duplicate entries and contact you about Backstage early access. It does not create an account, reserve access, guarantee a reply or promise a feature or release date. We do not use this list for unrelated marketing.

Where it is processed

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes early-interest entries for us through Cloudflare Pages, Workers and D1. Cloudflare may also process technical request information needed to deliver and protect its services. We do not write your IP address or user-agent to the early-interest database, and we do not expose entries through a public read route. We do not sell, rent or publicly share early-interest entries.

Security

We use the access controls available in our Cloudflare setup to limit access to the list. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not submit sensitive personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep an early-interest entry for up to 12 months from submission. Our operator reviews and deletes entries before their expiry each day. We delete an entry sooner when you ask, unless limited retention is needed for legal or security reasons. Deleted database records may remain in Cloudflare’s short-lived recovery history before it expires.

Your choices

You can ask us to confirm, correct or delete your early-interest entry, withdraw your request, or stop early-access updates. Email hello@maincharacter.one from the email address you used when possible. We may ask for limited information to verify the request.

Children and changes

This early-interest list is intended for adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please do not submit the form. We may update this notice when the website or data practices change and will publish a new effective date here.
